Young Activists and some of our older Young Explorers spent one of their weekly sessions looking at the Holocaust Memorial Day website www.hmd.org.uk  and discussing what they read. 

They learnt about the rise of Hitler and the racist Nazi Aryan ideology and anti-semitism, Kristallnachte, how the Nazis eliminated their opponents one group at a time, the concentration camps, the invasions, the resistance and the rescuers, and the defeat of the Nazis, liberation and the survivors.

Young Activists and Young Explorers then did their own research into different aspects of the Holocaust and produced some work in solidarity with the survivors, the rescuers, and all the victims and opponents of Hitler and the Nazis.
